Miracle League Summer Coach

Monday Nights, May 15 – July 3 (6:30PM – 7:30PM)
Location: Blaine Baseball Complex1150 Paul Parkway NE Blaine, MN 55434
Coaching a team is one of the best ways to impact multiple children and adult lives every week. A coach is the main point of contact for players and their families to let them know of special events like picture day or if a game is rained out. It is a fun and rewarding experience. This is a great opportunity for one individual (age 15 or older), a pair of friends, or a parents/son/daughter.

Duties Include:

• Assist players where needed
• Cheer along and add fun to the game
• Ensure that the game keeps moving to avoid running past the start time for the next scheduled game
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and concern for each player and family
• Manage team equipment (provided – in the box on the field )
• Work with other team’s coach to ensure there is a pitcher that can pitch
• Underhanded to the players (coaches mostly do it, but could also be a parent, other volunteers, or even a mature buddy)
• Help to partner up buddies with the players.
